The Los Angeles course is part of the 4,600-mile cross-country mission to bring a single American flag from Seattle to Tampa that ends on Veterans Day (Nov. 11). In total, over 70 teams will take part in the journey by running, walking, or cycling the flag to its final destination at Team RWB’s National Headquarters in Florida.
Onlookers will once again be invited to participate in the 4th annual relay throughout the course, which allows for spontaneous interactions with veterans and supporters that have made the traveling event a truly unforgettable experience. The participatory nature of the relay demonstrates this year’s theme of UNITY, and sends an important message of solidarity in these divided times.
